Ta Da! Announcing! Flower in the Hills has a Whole New Look!

Clean Teen Reads

Clean Teen ReadsLearning Curve

Being an indie author is not for the faint of heart. There are so many moving parts. This has been an interesting 5-year journey for me. Not the least of which has been a straight-up learning curve. One part of the learning experience has been the importance of a good cover. So here we are!

Flower in the Hills now boasts of a brand new look. And I think you’ll agree, it’s a great improvement.

Get Moving

But here’s my philosophy–I’d rather be running down the field going the wrong way than to stay sitting on the bench. So I jump out and make things happen. Even with a less-than-stellar book cover.

Follow Your Dreams

How about you? Do you have a dream? A passion burning inside of you? But you’re sitting on the bench thinking about it? Get moving. The brand new year of 2017 is almost upon us. What a great time for you to write out your goals list and get moving to make your dreams come true.

Remember!! The Kindle version of Flower in the Hills is still a FREE download. Check it out today! Click HERE!

Authentic Grandma Crashes Christmas Party

Clean Teen Reads

Clean Teen Reads

Each year our church youth group selects a theme for their Christmas party. This year it was “A Wrinkly Christmas.” The idea was for  the teens to dress up like grandparents. Since I’m one of the youth sponsors, and since I knew I would be the only real-live grandma at the party—I decided that would be my costume. I would dress up as the “authentic grandma.”

The authentic grandma then crashed the Youth Wrinkly Christmas Party. What fun!

The Youth were “play pretend” grandparents, but I was the real deal as you can see from the photo below. Here I am posing with the winner of best costume. (By the way, this is a guy!)

Now our teens know how an authentic millennial grandma rocks!

This year’s Christmas Party (the Wrinkly Christmas Party) was a blast. And served to remind me why I love hanging out with teens!!

Merry Christmas to all the Clean Teen Reads Family!
